Palm City Brewing – Fort Myers, FL

Our 2nd stop of the day which includes not only sampling the tasty beer offerings but also meeting up with a work colleague Jerzy, who is an immigrant from Poland. We thoroughly enjoyed the San Carlos Proper golden ale, the Razzle Me Irish red ale and the Kolsch along with stories of Poland, Russia and Germany days gone by. What an enlightening experience.

Crazy Dingo Brewing – Fort Myers, FL

Captains Log Day 2: this place is out of this world! Located on a real farm out in the sticks, this tasting room is part of a farmers market and a plant nursery under an open barn. Aside from the lack of air conditioning, this brewery has everything one would need for an afternoon of tasting from big screen TV’s to chicken on the barbie.

Big Storm Brewing – Cape Coral, FL

A fitting 2nd stop on our tour with Dorian “brewing” out in the Atlantic! This place was unusually empty for a Friday afternoon but maybe everyone is sitting in line at the gas station.  We enjoyed the Bay Beer Light lager and their version of the legendary Oktoberfest.

3 Keys Brewing – Bradenton, FL

So on our 2nd stop of the evening, we decided to have some dinner as well. Starting off with Floridalicious lager and Brown Noser English ale, we paired them with pizza, fish tacos and beer cheese. The food was “iffy” but the beers were good.

Good Liquid Brewing – Bradenton, FL

Great all-around selection of tasty beers! We drank a pint of the Kolsch and Pilsner but also had a taster of the Raspberry Jalapeno cream ale and the Blueberry Pancake ale. Wow! Both of these unique beers were delicious. The only downside of this brewery is they griped when we broke out our bag of pretzel rods.

Big Top Brewing – Sarasota, FL

This brewery is a nod to the rich history of Ringling Bros in Sarasota.  The tasting room is decorated with a circus theme leaning toward steam punk. We enjoyed the Big Life Tropical lager and the Suncoast pale ale. The beer was slightly warmer than we preferred due to cooler troubles but the wide variery of beers made up for it!

American Icon Brewery – Ft. Lauderdale, FL

This place opened back in March which explains why we are just now discovering their delicious beers. Decorated in our nation’s colors and the Statue of Liberty,  we really enjoyed their Factory Pilsner and the American Blonde but look forward to coming back and trying their Diesel Plant Pale Ale and the Power Plant Amber Ale.

The Weed Reaper Experiment – Pompano Beach, FL

Formally know as Holy Mackeral, we visited this place back in April last year and weren’t big fans however,  the owner sold the name and remade the brand to include more of the beers we like. Today, we enjoyed the Irreconcilable Differences and the Dingling Amber which were both very food.
