Swanky, club vibe restaraunt cranking loud dance music and serving craft beer supposedly brewed in the basement. Also distills their own booze in a barn down the road however, we’ll believe both when we see it. They don’t offer flights so we drank a pint of the Hana Pilz italian pils and an Otter Point british summer ale. They were actually pretty decent but tastes very similar which make you think “hmmmmm”.
Not sure this place brews onsite but they do brew good beer. Offering a dozen, well rounded selection of beers, we ordered a flight of Damn Sam pale ale, Simmer Down crush ale, Gets Dark Late nitro irish stout and a Haze Forward hazy IPA. All beers were top notch and were desperately needed after the long work week. Yum!
Established in 2017, this brewery has a moto of Building Better Beer. They accomplished that when we got a flight of Nuevo Fresco mexican lager, Moon Rover NEIPA, It’s The Pits pale ale and ESB. Not only was the beer good but the cheddar corn dip was delicious.
We will let the picture speak for itself. Yes, we tried all eight of their beers and needless to say, they were are great. Careful, the Tripel will sneak up on you.
So this whole blog is dedicated to telling the stories about our travels to breweries & NASCAR races and we have never posted a blog about a brewery at a race. The New Hampshire Motor Speedway provided us with fun and craft beers. We met the brew-master Casey who told us all about the brewery located about 160 miles from the track. He brought with him a bounty of crafts beers to give away to folks like us who have a passion and appreciation for great beer. Casey was kind enough to give us a couple of four-packs of various beers including Winchester’s Dream Ale, Diverse Parts kolsch, Moocho Mango IPA, Chasing Asteroids DIPA, Dawn’s Early Light blonde ale, Everything But The Thorns blackberry wheat and his namesake Casey’s Winter Beard imperial chocolate raspberry porter. OMG – it took us a couple of days but we drank them all and they were some of the best craft beers we have ever drank. If you ever make it up to norther NH or see it on the shelf at your favorite craft beer store, you MUST try it!
Our last stop of the day brings us to a brewery with barbeque place connected next door. I think everyone knows how we feel about barbeque AND beer. Right after God created heaven, earth and man, he created barbeque then beer. We ordered a heavenly flight of Forever Buddy lager, First Things brown ale, Life On Mars imperial IPA and a Let It Be NEIPA along side a pulled pork sandwich and mac & cheese…….heaven on earth!
We were a little reluctant by looking at the name since it didn’t have “brewery” in it but make no mistake – this is definitely a brewery. Located in the back of an industrial complex and a little tricky to find, this place has a short list of beers and a longer list of sours. We got a flight of 4 out of the 6 drinkable beers consisting of the Misguided Angel IPA, Strings Of Puppetry session pale ale, Sunday Matinee english blonde ale and the Trinidad With Attorneys DIPA. All solid beer but our least favorite was the DIPA which had too much mango flavor.
We rolled into town with a terrible thirst after unloading and setting up camp at NH Speedway. We were impressed with their wide variety of 16 beers so we ordered up a flight of Nitro Coffee Milk Stout, Live Free Lager, Kapitol Kolsch, Four Rivers Red and a Safe Space hazy NE IPA. All the beers were awesome but the big hit was the lobster roll. OMG – all lobster, no filler.
Let’s keep this one simple. We drank a flight of Like Water For Chocolate brown ale, Between Space belgium IPA, Different Waters belgium dark strong ale and Kraftwerk kolsch. All beers were good – nuff said!
So you basically have two choices at this brewery: IPA’s or sour’s. We weren’t too excited about the sours so we went all-in on the IPA’s. We ordered up a flight of Subculture (only pilsner in the house), Rumination 21 imperial IPA, Sociality pale ale, Double Sinner imperial IPA and Born Sinner new england IPA. This place reminds us of In and Out Burger: do one thing and do it good. This place does IPA’s good. The 21 was our favorite so we got a 4-pack to go!
