Started in 1992, this very charming brewery located in old Bricktown also serves a wide variety of food.  We tried the sea salt sweet potato fries with chili and carmel sauce.   Delicious!   We also had the meatloaf sandwich which was ok but might have tasted better if we didn’t kill our taste buds with the fries!  The beer we had was delicious – we tried the Old King Kolsch, Millie McFadden Red Rye Ale and Wiley’s One Eyed Wheat.

 

Friendly tap room located on the south side of town. Only one of two breweries that we could find, this place is small with a warm atmosphere. True to Texas hospitality, everyone here was eager to offer advice for restaurants and good time. The Cream Ale was awesome as was the complimentary petzels and popcorn.

Owners were brewers for other breweries and decided to open there own.  They have been open for 4 months and their beer is brewed on site.  We enjoyed the Groundsheeper Willie Cream Ale.  Very good beer.

 

This brewery is located in a small industrial area and brew their own beer on site.  They have a differrent wood atmosphere with picnic tables for sitting.  Offering an open mic night and a food truck, we didn’t eat but what they served looked good.  We drank the Piehole on nitro and the Brexit which is an english pale ale.  Both very good. Too bummed out about Dale Jr. announcement to write any more.

 

Located in downtown Las Vegas on the famous Fremont Street, this brewer produces small batches right here onsite. Surprizingly, the offer almost a dozen beers with many of them either CO2 or nitro. Great “pub-ish” atmosphere with a variety of unique music and a perminent, onsite “food truck” with snacks served up right outside in the garden area.

Stop #3 on our tour, we stayed at an outside camping area since they didn’t allow “in & out” privileges in the infield camping and we certainly couldn’t go to a track without visiting the local breweries!

Formally known as The Wild Donkey Brewery, this place looks like an old office space turned tasting room with a disco ball hanging from the ceiling! Simple in decor but great beer, we tried the Old World Hefe & the Palamino Pale Ale.

Truly a rebellious tap room with a unique variety of beers, this place is no-nonsense decor with an outdoor seating area and serves their beer in plastic cups. Live music on the weekends and boardgames to pass the time. Situated next to the San Bernadino airport in the industrial complex, don’t let the exterior of the building fool you into thinking the place is closed!

A true tap room, this place serves Peoria Artisan Brewery beer with a great selection of IPA’s and ales. Small and cozy with calming music playing overhead, this low budget tap room spends their money on creating great beer!
